About Us

Seriously pro audio for your event.

Sound is awesome.  Seriously.  We've all been to events where someone used a speaker that their mom bought at Costco, and there was an awful echo or delay that made the event really hard to understand, and when the party started...well...it simply wasn't able to keep up.

We want to take the guesswork out of audio for you.  And the stress out of your event as well.  Whether you need a full DJ service, or simply a PA system rental that will do an amazing job reproducing the audio you want at the volume you need, we can handle that.

Our DJs are very talented and practice their craft regularly.  They know how to mix music and generate incredible feel in an event.  Give them an idea of what type of music you want, and watch them take it to the stratosphere.  Let's be clear though, if you want your event to be just the top 40, we can do that too.  From EDM to Country, we've got you covered.

But...not all events need a DJ, but almost all events need sound equipment that can produce clear, clean sound at volume levels that are appropriate for the venue.  Audio isn't rocket science, but some companies want you to feel like it is.  Today's technology eliminates a lot of the muss and fuss of dialing in an EQ, or having someone sit at a sound board all night to stop feedback.  With proper equipment and basic training, you can set up your event to your liking.  Maybe it's a presentation for a client group in town on business, or maybe it's a graduation party in the backyard, know that whatever it is, we can help your audio work for your situation.

Peak Audio is a locally owned and operated business located here in the Flathead Valley.  We want to help you with your event sound, send us a message to let us know what you need.

Popular Questions

Have a question? We’re here to help.

  • What are your business hours?

We are available most days from about 8:30am to about 3:30pm.  That said, we definitely answer calls and respond to messages at other times as well.  Don't hesitate to call outside of normal hours or email anytime, you may just get a 2am response.

  • Can you describe the rental process?

Step one:  Call or email to confirm availability of the equipment you desire and the date you need.

Step two:  Pay your non-refundable deposit to fully secure your day and equipment.

Step three:  In advance of the event, pay the remainder of your invoice due (we will send a balance due invoice about a week prior to your event, so don't worry if you forget).  Arrange delivery/pickup location and times.  Ensure you have the equipment operator available for training during delivery/setup.

Step four:  Enjoy the high quality gear you've rented.  Beats the heck out of a Fender Passport huh?

Step five:  Be where you said you'd be for pickup, and give us a high five and Google review if you had a great experience!

  • Can I get a full refund?

You can get a refund for the half of the bill that isn't non-refundable, but that's not due until 24 hours in advance of the booking.  It's highly unlikely you'll want to cancel at 24 hours to go, but let's be honest, we aren't jerks here, just communicate with us and we will do our best to help you out.

Keep in mind that we take a non-refundable deposit to secure the date, in the valley, you are often not the only person that wants to rent some gear.  If we cancel the date, the non-refundable deposit helps us cover our costs up to that point because we've probably turned down other jobs while waiting for your date to arrive.

  • I have another question!

Awesome.  Shoot us an email (info@peakaudiokalispell.com) and we can answer it for you!

  • I want to add on an extra day, can I?

Heck yes!  Every additional day you add costs 50% of the first day.  So if you rent a PA that costs $300 for the first day, the second day only adds $150.  Sound good?  Good.

**Subject to availability of equipment of course.  If the gear you are using is booked for the next day, we can't give you that extra day unfortunately.**

  • Are you LGBTQ+ friendly?

    Hell yes.

The details and fine print portion.  Info you'll need to know.

Payment Terms:

1/2 of the rental fee is due upon booking the date of the rental, this is a non-refundable retainer for us to secure your rental date.  The remainder is due at delivery of your rental.  You will receive an invoice to the email that you choose to provide about a week ahead of the final payment being due.

We Don't Have Unlimited Equipment:

If you expect all dates to be open in the future, you're going to have a bad time.  Plan ahead, book ahead, secure your day before someone else grabs it.  Keep in mind, we are still people too, so if you book something in advance and a pandemic decides to show up, give us a call and we can talk through it.  No worries!

Weather:

If you choose to have an outdoor setting, it is the responsibility of the lessee (that's you) to provide cover for the gear from the elements.  Choosing not to provide protection for the equipment may result in damage to the equipment and being billed for replacement of the equipment that you rented.  Treat the rental equipment with respect please.

Training:

We will train the users of the gear upon delivery.  We cannot spend the day waiting for them to show up though.  Please arrange your delivery time to align with whomever will be operating the equipment so that training can occur alongside delivery and setup.  Typical setup and training takes 30 minutes to an hour and a half depending on the rental, please try to plan for this.
